The best raiding pet.

What do you think is the best raiding pet and why? please tell me because i am a warrior and leveling a hunter who is soon 70 and i need a new pet.(still running around with that hunter quest cat is stv) Id say wolf ( howl) or wind serpent(good but can block views) both have average dps health etc.Wind serpents are caster pets usualy. Not anymore. they got a nerf to lightning breath. Wind serpents are no longer dps pets. (use a cat or a ravager)A lot of hunters like cats (esp King Bangalash) for the fast attack speed. Fast attacks = cast interrupts for PVP. PvP =/= Raiding. GGEveryone keeps talking about King Bangalash but since about a year ago all the cat's are the same after you tame them.For Solo play I like my wolf as he hold agro very well with growl. In PVP I often use a cat for higher DPS. First off, do not pick a wolf or "dog" class pet. Their dps is avg and so is their attack speed. Let me tell you what a pet is actually supposed to do... You have three slots in your stable, two housing pets and the one that is with you. Your raid pet should be pure dps. Why? "Well i want it to be able to keep mobs off me... keep me alive if im being hit..." News flash, raid mobs hit HARD, no pets gonna be able to stand too long on its own against one... thats the TANKS job. Second. Youre a DPS class, a very good dps class if you spec and gear right... why not have a DPS pet to add to your dmg and contribute a little more. If you want a solo pet use up a stable slot and get a wolf or bear or scorpid. The best raid pets are a Bat, or cat. For lvl 70 get a bat from Karazhan or a lvl 69 lynx from Netherstorm. I personally have both then a scorpid for kicks and giggles that I also got from Netherstorm. P.S. As a kicker as a BM hunter in my current gear my lvl 70 cat can solo mobs in heroics... cat wins my vote for best pet hands down. Shaids lvl 70 Hunter Malfurionby far the best arena pet is going to be the scorpion from nothern SMV. Using its poisions on castsers such as a pally or druid over-rides their dispelling and dosnt allow them to dispell any stings. with this stings such as viper or serpent can have their full affect.the best raiding pet is by far a raptor after the new patch they have the most dps and can now use the charge move since the patch. the down side of this pet would be the low health and armor but for raiding and pvp it doesnt matter because noone will be attacking it (except the idiots)id say a gorilla would be best ive used a gorilla from 30-49 and hes been awsome lots of health and armor(even better with BM spec)and id say any pet can be an awsome pet even low lvls like lvl 1 i raised a cat from lvl 1 to lvl 35 and i still have it but i dont use it right now cause i need a tank(gorilla) more then a DPS so i suggest get a pet that is the lowest it can be and leave an open stable slot in stables to get more skills thats what i did and i got a kick ass pet :PCAT thats all i have to say ive always had a cat i started him at lvl 8 now lvl 70 and he is uber sick i can win almost every duel with him and i can kill elites of the same lvl with him .. ive tried the gorilas, winged serpents ect... cats own.personally, cats are the best pets in my opinion. Have great DPS, can also learn loads of talents.
